Unstoppable: Curating a Life of #NoExcuses

Thursday, April 28th

Victoria overcame extreme adversity to become a corporate executive at only 24 years of age and has continued her career with progressive roles across several global organizations. In this talk, Victoria shares her inspirational story, and some of her life and career lessons – designed to inspire, motivate and assist the audience in leading their own #Unstoppable journeys.

Key Highlights

What does Victoria attribute her success to?

  • Performance – Get clear on what success looks like, have the capacity to learn, maintain a strong work ethic, and don’t underestimate what you can do with your 5-9 vs your 9-5 to bring yourself joy (or start a side hustle).
  • Brand – Spend the time to create and curate your message of what people say about you when you’re not there. Build your network through authentic connections and interactions. Understand what separates you as a human from others who share your skill set.
  • Boundaries – Create rules you can live by and be comfortable with. No one’s going to create them for you. Can you have it all? Yes, but not at the same time.
  • Resilience – Build resilience in healthy ways by setting brave and ambitious goals to keep you centered, embracing your ability to look at yourself critically in the mirror, modeling the kind of behavior and thoughts you want even if it feels unnatural, and giving yourself permission to fail.
