A work breakdown structure (WBS) is a way to visualize an entire project’s tasks, phases, and deliverables.

Crafting a WBS is one of the hardest project planning tasks, but one of the most important to get right. It will help you identify the activities that are required to complete a project and organize those activities into manageable chunks of work.
