Slack's Tool, Our Rules

We strive to create a safe space for ideas, conversation, debate and all humans in general. The community’s integrity and well-being remain our primary focus.

Share with purpose.

The more you give, the more you receive! Sharing with purpose encourages others to do the same, so be prepared to contribute to the community. It will come back to you tenfold.

Respect who each other are.

Degrading and antagonizing comments about anything at all will not be tolerated. Nor will threatening violence, public shaming, excessive messaging, or re-posting photos of people without their permission whether it’s internal or external of the Workspace. We’re here to share our experiences, and contribute to the greater good of each other.

Be truthful.

Share your own experiences and personal journey in a straightforward and accurate manner. This is a safe space where you can be your own true, authentic self. Help others in the best way you know possible.

Refrain from self promotion.

The purpose of this shared space is to connect with your peers and help each other out, not to sell services. Promotional posts in any channel will be removed by our moderators unless they’ve been specifically requested by someone in the chat.

What happens in Slack, stays there.

Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. Shared assets and personal stories should stay within the group, but of course you can take away all the advice, tips, and tricks that this group has shared!
