Galen Low Steps In As The Digital Project Manager

Hey there DPMers,

I am excited to announce that Galen Low will be officially stepping into the role of The Digital Project Manager.

Galen and I spent many years working together at an agency, so I’m very confident in his skills, knowledge and ability.  I’m been delighted that we’ve been able to persuade him to help us in leading change in digital project management.

Galen brings over a decade of experience in digital project management and business development across the government, healthcare, retail, and resource sectors. He has held management and leadership roles at boutique digital agencies as well as large consultancies, including running a PMO and leading growth teams. Most recently, Galen was working with top brands at Fjord, the human-centered design team at Accenture Interactive.

You may have noticed Galen becoming increasingly involved in the DPM community over the past few months—running workshops, hosting member events, contributing to our newsletter, and engaging in our members forum. We’re here to tell you, he’s here to stay!

Going forward, he’ll also be providing creative and editorial direction for The Digital Project Manager at large, opening the aperture on industry trends and elevating the conversation on the role of project delivery in an increasingly digital world.

Galen will also be growing and cultivating our DPM Experts team, taking a journalistic lens to share real-world and actionable insights across our content, podcast, live events, and more.

Is Ben leaving?

No. Sorry, you can’t get rid of me that easily!

But after 10 years as The Digital Project Manager, I’m ready to play a more behind the scenes role, particularly as we’ve started a few other communities including The QA Lead, The Product Manager and People Managing People. Whether it’s in QA, Product Management or People & Culture, we at Black & White Zebra are on a mission to help people and organizations succeed.

I’ll continue to play the role of Chief Strategist at The Digital Project Manager, overseeing the vision and driving the strategic growth of our community and platform. In other words, I’m very much still around!

As always, thanks for being a member— this community is thriving because of you!

Also, your opinion is important to us, so if you have any ideas, feedback, or critiques, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly!

Here’s to the next 10 years; cheers!
