I took the course at the beginning of my first ever PM job. It was a great way to have a deep-dive and put some of what I learned into practice from day one! I was enrolled by my manager in the busiest time possible. However, I found that it was possible to do both and pass with a good result.

The course gave me a solid understanding of what PMs do, roadblocks they face, and how to overcome them. Expectations management is a BIG one that I'm continuing to work on myself (it's a spectrum) but I'm thankful for all of the fires I've avoided in my own job by staying on top of expectations.

I found the DPM course invigorating, with wealth of information that got me thinking about how our studio manages its projects and how to improve. By the end of the course I had the tools and skills necessary to manage my projects and their budgets proactively rather than reactively.
