I’ll Begin With An Honest Admission: I Started Out Clueless.
I began my career as an intern in ad agency and grew into the role of account manager. After a few years, I found myself transitioning into my first role as a digital project manager. I’d been told that by those recruiting me that it was effectively the same role as before—but it definitely wasn’t.
I’d never actually created a budget, a timeline, or a statement of work. My first day as a project manager was a bit of a rude awakening as I quickly realized I had absolutely no idea how to do it properly. I had a bad case of imposter syndrome. I was sure that at any second, someone would walk up to me and say, “What on Earth are you doing?”
Fast-forward 15 Years…
More than a decade later, I’ve had the opportunity to run some big project management teams at some of the best digital agencies out there, and I’ve learned many valuable lessons along the way.
Here, I’ve summarized my learnings into 6 Powerful Lessons Every Project Manager Needs to Learn. These are the things I wish someone had told me when I started 15 years ago—and that’s why I created a webinar in order to share them with you.
Save yourself the headache—learn from my mistakes so that you, as a project manager, can make more strategic decisions and lead your project teams with confidence.
